Product Description

The Rancho RS55331 is an RS5000X Series front shock absorber engineered for lifted Jeep Wrangler JK applications, especially around a ~4" front lift. Designed to improve both on-road comfort and off-road control, this gas-charged shock employs Rancho's Cross-Tuned rebound valving and advanced compression tuning to deliver smoother, more controlled damping through suspension travel. Progressive Engagement Valving helps soften initial impacts at lower speeds, reducing harshness over bumps and rough terrain.

Built for durability, the RS55331 features a nitro-carburized piston rod and a full-displaced bore, with double-welded loops and protective boot to guard against corrosion and debris. Its larger twin-tube body and all-weather fluid ensure consistent performance in extreme temperatures. Sold individually for front installation, this shock is a direct-fit performance replacement to enhance ride quality and handling on lifted Wrangler JK models.
