The Rancho RS994310 is the 4th-generation RS9000XL rear shock absorber for 2006-2010 Hummer H3 4WD models equipped with the Rancho RS6558B suspension system at 4 inches of rear lift, directly replacing the legacy RS999310. The 4th-gen design introduces integrated bottom mounts for improved structural rigidity and a dual component 2K paint finish that delivers superior chip and corrosion resistance over the previous liquid metallic coating. The 9-position manually adjustable damping knob allows drivers to dial in rear ride quality from soft and comfortable for daily use to firm and planted for technical off-road driving.

The large 2.75-inch tri-tube body, 120 PSI nitrogen gas charge, and 18mm nitro-carburized piston rod are purpose-matched to the H3's rear suspension geometry and the travel demands introduced by the 4-inch RS6558B lift system. This shock fits the rear position and is sold individually - two are required for a complete rear replacement.
