The Rancho RS55395 RS5000X is a rear shock absorber engineered specifically for 2004-2015 Nissan Titan trucks in RWD (2WD) configuration at factory ride height. The first-generation Titan (A60 platform) was offered in a single engine option in the US market - the 5.6L VK56DE V8 - across all King Cab and Crew Cab body styles and trim levels from XE through LE. The RS55395 is tuned to the RWD Titan's rear leaf-spring suspension geometry and provides a meaningful damping upgrade over worn OEM shocks. Built on Rancho's patented Cross Tuned Technology, this shock pairs an exclusive rebound valving system with an advanced compression phase that improves rear-end stability, reduces body roll, and delivers a noticeably smoother and more controlled ride compared to tired factory dampers.
