Product Description

The Rancho RS55301 RS5000X Rear Shock Absorber is a direct-fit replacement designed for the rear suspension of 2004-2012 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks equipped with either 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive. Part of Rancho's RS5000X line, this shock features progressive engagement valving and tuned compression control to help improve handling stability and ride quality over worn or aged factory shocks. Its gas-charged twin-tube construction combined with a nitro-carburized piston rod promotes consistent damping performance and durability across a range of on- and off-road driving conditions. 

Built to handle both daily driving and light off-road use, the RS55301 accommodates stock ride heights as well as trucks with a modest rear lift up to approximately 2.5".
