The Rancho RS55056 RS5000X Rear Shock is engineered specifically for lifted Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks (4WD) with a 5-inch rear lift, covering model years 2003 through 2009. It features Cross Tuned damping technology and Progressive Engagement Valving, which deliver smooth initial travel with increasing control through the full stroke - ideal for both on-road comfort and off-road performance.

Constructed with a 16 mm nitro-carburized rod, 35 mm piston, and gas pressurization (~150 PSI), this shock is designed to withstand harsh environments and heavy use - while reducing fade under extreme conditions.
