The Rancho RS55272 RS5000X front shock absorber is engineered to improve ride quality and handling on full-size Ford trucks and SUVs with stock suspension height. Designed for Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty models (1999-2025) and 2000-2005 Ford Excursion, this gas-charged twin-tube shock delivers consistent damping performance on and off road. The Progressive Engagement Valving system and Tuned Compression Control Valve work together to help smooth out impacts, enhance stability, and maintain vehicle control under varied driving conditions.

Built with a nitro-carburized piston rod and full-displaced piston, the RS55272 provides durability and long service life. Protective dust boots and rubber bushings help reduce exposure to debris and minimize vibration and noise.
