Fitment Notes

• The 7441 hinge set is designed for use with steel doors only - both half steel doors and full steel doors on the applicable model years. It is not intended for use with soft doors, tubular doors, or aftermarket aluminum doors.
• For 1987-1995 YJ and 1997-1999 TJ applications, this kit is specifically listed for half steel door configurations. Owners running full steel doors on these model years should verify fitment before ordering.
• No drilling is required. The 7441 hinges are direct replacements for the factory door hinge positions on the applicable YJ and TJ chassis, attaching to existing factory-threaded mounting points on the A-pillar and door.
• Windshield hinges are sold separately. The 7441 set covers the door-mounted upper hinges only. If replacing all door-related hinge hardware, windshield hinges must be purchased as a separate item.
• Lower door hinge brackets are sold separately. The lower door hinge bracket mounts at the bottom of the door and connects the door to the lower tub body; this bracket is not included in the 7441 set and must be sourced separately for a complete hinge replacement.
• This kit includes 4 hinges - sufficient to replace the upper door hinges on both driver and passenger doors of a 2-door Wrangler (2 hinges per door).

The factory painted steel door hinges on these Wranglers are a well-known rust point - their exposed location, frequent contact with water and mud, and the open-air driving conditions the Wrangler is designed for combine to accelerate corrosion on the factory hardware.
