Vehicle Fitment

  • 1993-2002 Toyota Supra (MK4 / JZA80, Base and Twin Turbo, 2JZ-GE and 2JZ-GTE)

Fitment Notes

  • Fits all MK4 Toyota Supra (JZA80) models - Base and Twin Turbo variants. No permanent modifications to the OEM fuel access cover are required.
  • Fuel pumps are NOT included. This hanger is specifically configured for Walbro DCSS 39/50 pumps: F90000267, F90000274, and F90000285.
  • Supports 1, 2, or 3 fuel pumps. A bespoke stainless steel triple-pump mesh strainer is included for proper inlet filtration with all three pump positions.
  • Single-pump applications may reuse OEM fuel pump controller wiring; upgrading to larger-gauge wiring is recommended for dual and triple-pump setups.
  • An aftermarket fuel pressure regulator is required - the OEM regulator is not reused in this system.
  • Optional fuel pump wiring kits are available separately from Radium Engineering (select qty 1 for single, qty 2 for dual, qty 3 for triple pump configurations).

Features

  • Drop-in OEM replacement design that installs directly into the stock MK4 Supra (JZA80) fuel tank with no permanent modifications required to the factory fuel access cover.
  • Supports 1, 2, or 3 Walbro F90000267/274/285 DCSS 39/50 high-flow fuel pumps simultaneously for fuel delivery well beyond 1,000hp.
  • Integrated venturi siphon jet pump uses the venturi effect to draw fuel from outside the sub-tank and distribute it directly to the pump inlets, keeping the sub-tank full in all driving conditions including hard cornering and acceleration.
  • Redesigned siphon system completely eliminates any restriction on the return line while still effectively scavenging fuel - allowing higher-flow pumps to be used without fuel pressure issues.
  • New high-flow integrated check valve on the merged pump outlet maintains fuel pressure after engine shutdown, speeding restart cycles.
  • 10AN ORB threaded feed port with low-profile pre-installed 8AN male adapter fitting simplifies aftermarket fuel line plumbing.
  • 8AN ORB threaded return port with pre-installed 6AN male adapter fitting; barb fittings included to reconnect OEM return and vent hoses.
  • Custom-designed anti-rotation stainless steel electrical studs handle the high current demands of up to three high-flow pumps; connections are sealed and impervious to all standard and exotic fuels.
  • Low-profile wiring design keeps all electrical connections tucked beneath the OEM fuel tank cover using provided foam insulation, maintaining a clean OEM-style appearance.
  • Full anodized aluminum construction throughout; fuel-resistant ETFE-insulated wiring and fuel-resistant submersible tubing included.

Product Description

The Radium Engineering 20-1512 is a direct drop-in fuel pump hanger for the 1993-2002 Toyota Supra MK4 (JZA80), specifically configured to accept up to three Walbro DCSS 39/50 series fuel pumps (F90000267, F90000274, and F90000285). This hanger completely replaces the factory in-tank fuel pump module with a high-performance unit engineered to support extreme power levels - making it the cornerstone of any serious 2JZ fuel system build. The installation requires no permanent modifications to the OEM fuel access cover, preserving the option to return the vehicle to stock configuration if ever needed. Walbro pumps are sold separately.

A key engineering highlight of the 20-1512 is the redesigned venturi siphon jet pump system. Unlike the OEM setup, which is prone to fuel starvation during hard cornering, acceleration, or low-fuel conditions, the Radium system uses a venturi effect to continuously draw fuel from outside the sub-tank and deliver it directly to the pump inlets. The siphon circuit has been completely redesigned to eliminate return-line restriction, meaning higher-flow pumps can be safely used without triggering fuel pressure instability. The venturi jet pump consumes approximately 15-45 LPH depending on operating pressure - a factor that should be taken into account when sizing pumps for a specific power target. An integrated high-flow check valve on the merged outlet maintains fuel pressure after shutdown, reducing hot restart times.

Electrical reliability was equally prioritized in this design. Custom anti-rotation stainless steel studs replace the compact bulkhead connectors found in the OEM unit, which are inadequate for the high current demands of modern high-flow fuel pumps. All internal wiring is insulated with ETFE for chemical resistance against gasoline, E85, methanol, and other exotic fuels. The low-profile wiring layout routes neatly beneath the factory fuel tank cover using the included foam insulation, maintaining an OEM-quality appearance under the access panel. Nonconductive acorn nuts are included to prevent accidental short circuits. Single-pump applications can reuse the factory pump controller wiring, while dual and triple setups should use Radium's optional fuel pump wiring kits for proper current capacity.
