Fitment Notes

• 10AN ORB female ports on both inlet and outlet - adapter fittings (sold separately) are required to connect to different AN hose sizes or SAE fittings; see Radium's 10AN ORB adapter fitting lineup
• 6 micron microglass filter element (suffix -05) - provides superior filtration efficiency (99.9% capture at 6 micron, absolute rating) meeting the Bosch fuel injector filtration specification; element is NOT serviceable and must be replaced at end of service life; for the cleanable stainless steel version with check valve, see 20-1220-03
• Integrated one-way check valve on outlet (silver outlet cap) - distinguishes this filter from the standard 20-0220-05 (green cap, no check valve); the check valve prevents fuel rail pressure from dropping when the engine or fuel pump is shut off
• Check valve use cases: fuel pumps without a built-in outlet check valve; venturi jet pump systems operating on the high-pressure feed side; any application requiring maintained rail pressure post-shutdown

Product Description

The Radium Engineering 20-1220-05 is a high-flow inline fuel filter with an integrated one-way check valve and a 6 micron absolute-rated microglass element. The check valve (silver outlet cap) maintains fuel rail pressure after engine shutdown - essential for fuel pumps without built-in outlet check valves or venturi jet pump systems on the high-pressure feed side. The 6 micron microglass element provides 99.9% absolute filtration efficiency, meeting the Bosch injector protection specification, with minimal flow restriction tested at just 2.5 psi drop at 700 LPH. The 3-piece 6061 aluminum body is CNC machined, Type-II anodized, and FKM O-ring sealed for compatibility with all fuel types including E85 and methanol. Universal 10AN ORB female ports. Element must be replaced at end of service life (not cleanable) - replacement element: 18-0025-05.
