Fitment Notes

• Sold in multiple variants by fitting size - confirm you select the correct suffix for your fuel line: -01 (5/16 in. barb, hose clamps required), -06 (-6AN adapter fittings), -08 (-8AN adapter fittings), or -10 (-10AN adapter fittings)
• Base static fuel pressure requirement: 40-105 psi (FPD-XR Extra Range) - for lower-pressure applications, Radium's more compact FPD-R (20-0199) may be a better fit
• Vacuum/boost reference line is optional if maximum fuel pressure does not exceed 105 psi
• Can be mounted at any angle, including upside down; install as close to the fuel rail(s) as practical and away from excessive heat

Product Description

The Radium 20-0200 FPD-XR is an inline fuel pulse damper built to absorb the pressure oscillations created every time a fuel injector opens and closes. As the wider-range sibling of Radium's FPD-R, it uses the same internal diaphragm concept but is tuned for a broader 40-105 psi base static pressure window - useful on higher-pressure boosted setups where the standard-range damper isn't rated high enough.

An internal vacuum/boost reference port lets the diaphragm response scale with manifold pressure, keeping damping performance consistent on rising-rate fuel pressure regulator setups even as boost climbs. At 2.60 inches tall, the FPD-XR is taller than the compact 1.98-inch FPD-R, so it needs a bit more clearance, but it delivers a wider effective pressure range as a tradeoff. It mounts at any angle, including upside down, using the included M6 hardware.

Because fuel line size varies by build, this damper is sold in several kit variants - a 5/16 in. barb version for rubber hose, or -6AN, -8AN, and -10AN adapter versions for braided line - so order the variant matching your fuel line. It's intended for returnless/FPR-style fuel systems only, not return-style setups, and is safe for use with gasoline, E85, and methanol blends.
