Vehicle Fitment

• Universal - Compatible with any gasoline, diesel, or alcohol-blend (E85, ethanol, methanol) fuel system requiring fuel pressure monitoring at up to 100 psi (6.9 bar).
• Particularly well suited to space-constrained installations where a straight-exit gauge would conflict with nearby components - the 90-degree elbow adapter redirects the gauge body perpendicular to the port for clearance.

Fitment Notes

• Installs via two adapter pieces: first thread the 8AN ORB to 1/8 in. NPT female adapter into the 8AN ORB port on the fuel rail, regulator, or filter; then thread the 90-degree 1/8 in. male/female NPT elbow fitting into the adapter; then thread the gauge's 1/8 in. NPT male fitting into the elbow. Always use PTFE thread sealant paste on all NPT connections - not tape.
• The 90-degree elbow can be rotated before final tightening to point the gauge face in the most readable direction for the specific installation.
• If a 1/8 in. NPT female port is already present in the fuel system, the gauge can be installed directly via the 90-degree elbow without using the 8AN ORB adapter - use whichever adapter combination fits the installation.
• A small internal silicone bubble visible through the lens is a normal characteristic of silicone-filled gauges and does not indicate a defect.
• Do not exceed 100 psi - overpressurization can permanently shift needle calibration.
• Do not tighten the gauge by gripping the gauge body - hand-thread gently, then use a wrench on the fitting hex to complete 1.5-3 turns past hand-tight.

Product Description

The Radium Engineering 20-0407 is a silicone-filled 0-100 psi (0-6.9 bar) fuel pressure gauge packaged with a 90-degree 1/8 in. NPT elbow adapter and an 8AN ORB to 1/8 in. NPT female adapter - the combination specifically designed for tight engine bay installations where a straight-exit gauge would conflict with nearby components. The 90-degree elbow redirects the gauge body perpendicular to the fuel system port, allowing the gauge face to be oriented in a clearly visible position regardless of the port's location on the fuel rail, regulator, or filter housing. It is the kit recommended by Radium for use with their Direct Mount Regulator (DMR), where the two 1/8 in. NPT side ports on the regulator body benefit from the elbow's space-saving exit angle.

Installation uses both included adapters in series: the 8AN ORB adapter threads into any 8AN ORB port, the 90-degree NPT elbow connects to the adapter, and the gauge threads into the elbow - or, if a 1/8 in. NPT port is already available, the gauge and elbow can be used directly without the 8AN ORB adapter. The elbow can be rotated before final tightening to aim the gauge face in the most readable direction. As with all silicone-filled gauges, a small internal bubble visible through the acrylic lens is normal.
