The Race Star 601-1429-20 is a complete 20-piece Direct Drill closed-end lug nut installation kit designed for 2015-2026 Ford Mustang owners running Race Star 92 Drag Star or 82 Pro Lite wheels. Standard OEM lug nuts are not compatible with Race Star's Direct Drill wheel design, making this kit a mandatory purchase for proper and safe installation. Built to the 14mm x 1.50 right-hand thread specification used across both the S550 and S650 Mustang platforms, this kit covers all four corners of the vehicle in a single package.

The closed-end design keeps stud threads protected from road contamination and delivers a cleaner finished look compared to open-end alternatives. Each kit includes centered washers for uniform clamping, 70.6mm hub centric rings to eliminate vibration at the hub interface, chrome valve stems for a refined appearance, and a chrome thin-wall 7/8 in. socket to reach lug nuts within the recessed pockets of Direct Drill wheel designs.
