Product Description

The Race Star 601-1426D-20 is a complete 20-piece Direct Drill wheel installation kit designed for 1994-2014 Ford Mustang owners running Race Star 92 Drag Star or 82 Pro Lite wheels. Standard OEM lug nuts are incompatible with Race Star's Direct Drill wheel design, making this kit a required accessory for proper installation. Each open-end lug nut is built to the 1/2 in.-20 right-hand thread specification used across SN95 and S197 Mustang platforms, and the open-end design ensures full thread engagement even on extended or aftermarket studs.

Beyond the lug nuts, this kit includes everything needed for a complete wheel swap: centered washers for uniform clamping load, hub centric rings to eliminate wheel vibration, chrome valve stems for a clean finished appearance, and a chrome thin-wall 13/16 in. socket to seat lug nuts in the tight clearance common to performance wheel designs. The 20-piece count covers all four corners of the vehicle in a single purchase. This kit is not compatible with 2015 or newer Mustangs due to a change in factory thread pitch.
