Product Description

The QA1 DS602 is the polyurethane bushing mount variant of QA1's DS601 Proma Star single adjustable custom mount coilover shock, sharing the same ~6.25-inch stroke, 12.5-inch compressed length, and 18.75-inch extended length. The bushing mount design absorbs road noise and vibration rather than transmitting it directly into the chassis compared to bearing mounts, making the DS602 the preferred choice for street-driven hot rods, restomods, and full-size custom builds where ride quality and comfort are valued alongside tuning adjustability. Bushings are 1-1/4" wide and include both 1/2" and 5/8" sleeves to accommodate a range of mounting hardware dimensions.

The 18-position single adjustable valve simultaneously controls compression and rebound damping with one easy-to-reach knob - simple and effective for street-focused builds that don't require the complexity of independent dual-knob adjustment. It is designed to use a 14-inch 2.5" I.D. coilover spring (sold separately) with a recommended ride height of 15.25"-15.75". The 2-inch O.D. lightweight aluminum body, 5/8-inch chrome plated solid piston rod, PTFE-banded aluminum piston, and three-step sealing system deliver long-term reliability in any mounting orientation. Each unit is 100% dyno-tested and serialized and is fully revalveable and rebuildable by QA1. Register at QA1 before installation to activate the Limited Lifetime Warranty.
