QA1 52740 is a Street Performance front lower control arm kit designed for 1979-1993 Ford Mustang Fox Body applications. The tubular arms provide a lightweight and durable alternative to the factory components, with each arm weighing less than 9 pounds. The design reduces unsprung weight while providing improved suspension strength and responsiveness for performance-oriented street builds.

Each control arm features a forged ball-joint housing with a low-friction, rebuildable and greaseable ball joint. Greaseable polyurethane bushings resist deflection while allowing controlled suspension movement, improving stability and steering response. The arms are designed for straightforward bolt-in installation with compatible factory or QA1 K-members.

QA1 52740 requires coilover struts and is not compatible with factory coil springs. The kit includes an adapter for SN95 spindles, making it suitable for applicable Fox Body-to-SN95 spindle conversions. The control arms are sold as a matched left- and right-hand pair and are intended for the front lower suspension position.
