Product Description

The QA1 52857 is a performance rear sway bar engineered for 1968-1977 GM A-Body Big Wheel applications. Its 1.25-inch hollow 4130 chromoly construction is designed to increase rear roll resistance, helping reduce body roll and improve stability during cornering, acceleration and other demanding driving conditions.

QA1 uses application-specific tubing dimensions and a compact bar design to provide the required torsional stiffness while maintaining useful ground clearance around the rear suspension. The bar features CNC-bent tubing, machined and welded ends and a durable black powder-coated finish. Plated mounting hardware is included for installation, although exhaust clearance should be checked at normal ride height because some exhaust configurations may require adjustment.
