The QA1 52093 Subframe Connector Kit is a bolt-in chassis stiffening solution for the 1967-1969 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe and Pontiac Firebird Coupe. These first-generation F-bodies were built on a unibody platform that, while advanced for their era, is prone to flex and torsional twist under the stresses of hard cornering, aggressive acceleration, and modern tire grip levels. The QA1 subframe connectors address this directly by connecting the front stub subframe to the rear subframe with tubular steel bracing, dramatically increasing chassis rigidity and providing a noticeably more solid, precise feel at the wheel - whether the car is street-driven, drag-raced, or used as a weekend performance build.

The kit contours to follow the Camaro's body lines for a clean, factory-like appearance that doesn't compromise ground clearance, and the included solid aluminum body mounts eliminate the flex contribution of soft rubber or deteriorating OEM bushings without the noise drawbacks of polyurethane. Installation is a true bolt-in using factory mounting points - no welding or cutting is required. The connectors are compatible with both stock leaf spring rear suspension and QA1's four-link conversion kits. Note that solid body bushings from QA1 must be installed prior to fitting the subframe connectors, and front leaf spring mounts must be temporarily removed during the process. This kit does not fit convertible models.
