Product Description

The QA1 5294 rear lower tubular trailing arms are a direct bolt-in upgrade for all 1965-1970 GM B-Body full-size vehicles, including the Chevrolet Bel Air, Biscayne, Impala, Caprice, Buick LeSabre, Wildcat, Oldsmobile Delta 88, and Pontiac Bonneville and Catalina. Built from 1-1/4 in. diameter, 0.120 in. wall steel tubing, they are significantly lighter and stronger than the factory stamped steel arms. A spherical rod end assembly on the chassis end eliminates bushing bind that plagues stock arms, allowing the rear suspension to move more freely for better traction, reduced wheel hop, and a more predictable rear end under hard driving.

Installation is a true bolt-in using the factory rear suspension mounting points - no modifications required. Fluted, greaseable polyurethane bushings on the axle end replace soft OE rubber for improved response and long service life. These arms are also required for compatibility with the QA1 52826 rear sway bar, making them a natural first step when building a complete B-Body handling or coil-over conversion package.
