Product Description

The QA1 52722 GM 2.0 Street front upper control arms are a direct bolt-in upgrade for 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles including the Chevelle, El Camino, GTO, LeMans, Cutlass, 442, Skylark, and Monte Carlo. Built from high-strength steel tubing with billet aluminum cross shafts, each arm weighs less than 7 pounds -- significantly lighter than factory stamped steel units -- reducing unsprung weight for improved handling and responsiveness. The integrated QA1 ball joints are stronger than OEM, feature built-in dust boots, and are rebuildable for long-term tunability. Polyurethane bushings provide road noise isolation while maintaining the stiffness needed for precise suspension response. Double-shear lower mounts are designed for coilover compatibility with all QA1 single adjustable, double adjustable, and MOD Series Pro Coil-Over shocks. These arms increase positive caster over the factory geometry for improved straight-line tracking and reduced steering wander. All welding is performed robotically for consistent quality, and the black powder coat finish protects against corrosion. These arms require a coilover conversion and are not compatible with factory coil springs.
