Fitment Notes

• This system is designed specifically for the 1989-1993 first-generation Dodge Ram with the 12V VE-44 Cummins. The pressure side connects directly to the side of the VE-44 injection pump, bypassing the factory block-mounted mechanical fuel pump and the factory fuel filter housing. Do not use on 1994+ 12V Cummins trucks (P7100 injection pump) - those applications require a different AirDog part number.
• At 100 GPH, the A7SPBD338 is rated for stock to mildly modified fuel systems - appropriate for daily drivers, tow rigs, and work trucks running stock or near-stock injectors, injection pump, and tuning. Heavily modified builds with larger injectors or aggressive tuning should consider the higher-flow 165 GPH variant.
• No fuel tank drilling or modifications are required for installation. The suction side connects to the factory suction fitting on the frame rail fuel module. Air and vapor are returned to the tank via a filler neck tee (included).
• Boost compensation capability requires an optional boost compensation kit (sold separately).

• Patented Air/Fuel Separation (Fuel Preporator®): The AirDog II-5G is the original and only diesel lift pump system with third-party verified positive air separation. Entrained air and vapor in diesel fuel disrupts injector spray patterns and injection timing, reducing combustion efficiency and causing injector and pump wear over time. The AirDog removes virtually all entrained air and vapor before fuel reaches the VE-44 pump - restoring designed injection timing and enabling a more complete fuel burn across the entire power and torque range.
• Integrated Adjustable Diaphragm Pressure Regulator (5G Exclusive): An industry first - the AirDog II-5G is the first diesel fuel air separation system to incorporate an integrated diaphragm-type fuel pressure regulator. Preset at 10-13 psi from the factory for stock 1st-gen Cummins applications, the regulator is fully adjustable from 7 to 55 psi to match current and future performance upgrades. The diaphragm design delivers more consistent fuel pressure and better flow at pressure compared to a ball-and-spring regulator. Can be boost compensated (kit sold separately) to maintain pressure under open-throttle boost conditions.
• Demand Flow Operation: The AirDog II-5G operates on demand - it continuously supplies whatever volume of clean fuel the injection system needs and recirculates any unused fuel back through the filter base for additional multi-pass filtration. The system will never over-fuel your injection pump, regardless of operating conditions.
• 2-Micron Fuel Filtration (FF100-2): The included FF100-2 fuel filter provides 2-micron absolute filtration - significantly finer than the factory fuel filter - protecting the precision tolerances of the VE-44 injection pump from particulate contamination. The filter mounts directly to the AirDog pump body.
• Water Separation (WS100): The included WS100 water separator removes water from the fuel supply before it reaches the injection pump, preventing corrosion and injection pump damage from water contamination. The separator mounts directly to the pump body alongside the fuel filter.
• Improved 12-Gauge Wiring Harness (5G Exclusive): The AirDog II-5G features an upgraded 12-gauge wiring harness from the battery connection all the way through to the internal motor connections - reducing resistance and heat compared to the lighter-gauge wiring of previous-generation systems. A Metri-Pack 280 connector replaces the older Deutsch 2-pin connector for higher current capacity and reduced heat generation. All other harness connectors are weather-pack sealed against the elements.
