Product Description

The Prothane 1-1017 is a front and rear main spring eye bushing kit engineered for the 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ and compatible CJ-series models. It replaces the OEM rubber bushings at the frame-end main spring eye mounting points - the four pivot locations where the leaf springs bolt directly to the frame under the vehicle. The polyurethane construction is significantly more resistant to wear, road grime, and UV degradation than factory rubber, and the greaseable hardware allows the bushings to be serviced over time for long-term quiet operation.

Each bushing features a hat-style design with included metal sleeves, grease-fitted bolts, and Prothane Super Grease for proper installation. Replacing worn main spring eye bushings restores suspension geometry and eliminates the looseness and wander caused by degraded rubber. This kit covers main eye positions only - it does not include shackle bushings.
