Product Description

The Prothane 18-101 is a body-to-frame mount bushing kit designed for the 1979-1988 Toyota Pickup 4WD. It replaces the OEM rubber body mount bushings at all chassis attachment points with polyurethane, which is significantly more resistant to compression set, road grime, and UV exposure than rubber. The kit includes three distinct bushing profiles - large, medium, and small conical - to match the different mount locations across the 4WD Pickup chassis, along with the metal sleeves and flat washers needed for proper installation.

Worn or collapsed body mount bushings allow the cab to shift on the frame, causing looseness, noise, and misalignment that worsens over time - a common issue on high-mileage or off-road-driven classic Toyotas. Replacing them with Prothane polyurethane restores proper body-to-frame rigidity and eliminates the associated noise and flex. This kit is for 4WD models only; 2WD Pickup trucks use a different body mount configuration. All components are made in the USA and covered by Prothane's Lifetime Warranty. Replacement mounting hardware is not included.
