The Prothane 7-1601 Transmission Mount Kit replaces the original rubber mount on 1968-1984 Chevrolet and GMC K-Series 4WD pickups, Suburban, Blazer, and Jimmy models. It's engineered with polyurethane and features a Poly-Locked "run-safe" interlock mechanism to prevent catastrophic failure and reduce drivetrain movement under torque.

This direct-fit mount improves drivetrain stiffness, reduces vibration and noise, and resists oil, heat, and ozone better than OEM rubber. Ideal for restored or daily drivers needing enhanced torque control. Installation is simple - use existing mounting points and hardware. Backed by a lifetime limited warranty and includes CA Prop 65 chemical exposure notice. Not compatible with 2WD chassis or vehicles newer than 1984.
