The Prothane 7-243 Front Control Arm Bushing Kit is engineered for full-size GM trucks - specifically the 2007-2017 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500, plus the 2007-2014 Silverado 2500 2WD & 4WD. Over time, the factory rubber control-arm bushings deteriorate, leading to looseness in the front suspension, wandering steering and reduced ride quality. This kit replaces those weak points with high-performance polyurethane bushings to restore precision, improve responsiveness and extend durability.

Installation is straightforward for experienced techs: remove the OEM rubber bushings (typically via press-out), retain the outer shell if applicable, install the polyurethane bushings with the supplied sleeves, apply the included Super Grease lubricant, align and torque to factory spec. Because the kit fits the specified applications directly, no additional modifications are required. Fitment beyond these years is currently unconfirmed.
