The Prothane 7-237-BL is a front control arm bushing kit for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD, 2500, 2500HD, 3500HD, and equivalent GMC Sierra variants from 2001 through 2013. The factory rubber control arm bushings in these heavy-duty trucks are subjected to significant stress from towing, hauling, and rough road use - and once they wear, deteriorate, or compress, the result is wandering steering, degraded alignment stability, and accelerated tire wear. Prothane's polyurethane replaces these with a firmer, longer-lasting material that maintains consistent compliance resistance under all loading conditions.

By eliminating the deflection associated with worn rubber bushings, the 7-237-BL helps maintain proper caster and camber settings under dynamic loads - improving straight-line tracking, reducing steering correction fatigue on long hauls, and restoring the front-end precision these trucks were engineered to deliver.
