The Project Mu PCR09R385 Club Racer RC09 rear brake pads are engineered specifically for the 2017-2023 Honda Civic Type R FK8 in circuit and club racing environments. Based on the DNA of Project Mu's H16-03 - widely regarded as one of the world's best race brake compounds - the Club Racer RC09 is a purpose-built track pad that delivers outstanding stopping power, precise modulation, and excellent release characteristics with a remarkably low wear rate for its performance class.

The super graphite metallic compound operates between 300-800°C, maintaining a consistent friction coefficient of 0.42-0.55µ throughout that range - eliminating the unpredictable fade and coefficient drop that plagues lesser track pads under hard use. A slotted pad body vents brake gases to prevent gas fade. These pads are not suited for daily street driving due to high dust output, elevated noise, and a cold operating temperature that begins at 300°C. For front pads, see PCR09F506.
