The Progress Tech 62.1042 is a Competition Series 22mm three-position adjustable rear sway bar system purpose-built for the 1996-2000 Honda Civic (EK / 6th Gen), covering all trims and body styles including the CX, DX, LX, HX, EX, GX, Si, and Value Package. Sharing the same Competition Series architecture as the Integra-focused 62.1041, this system delivers a fully integrated bar, brace, and end link package in a single kit - engineered specifically for the EK chassis geometry. The 22mm solid alloy steel bar provides 310-410 lbs/inch of adjustable rear roll stiffness, replacing the OEM bar with a component that dramatically reduces body lean and sharpens cornering response whether the car is used daily on winding roads or pushed hard at autocross and track day events.

The integrated heavy-gauge steel chassis brace is the core differentiator of this system. Spanning both rear lower control arm mounting points and anchoring through the spare tire well, the brace stiffens the EK's rear subframe structure, eliminating the flex that causes inconsistent sway bar response and can lead to subframe damage under repeated high-load cornering.
