Fitment Notes

  • Requires rear lower control arms (RLCAs) with M10 threaded end link mounting bosses - verify your LCAs have this feature before ordering
  • Integrated steel chassis brace mounts through the spare tire well - spare tire and trunk liner removal is required during installation
  • Three adjustment holes allow chassis tuning between soft (310 lbs/in), middle (360 lbs/in), and firm (410 lbs/in) settings
  • No shims or washers are required for installation - kit is fully self-contained
  • A professional wheel alignment is recommended after installation
  • All 1994-2001 Integra body styles (Coupe and Sedan) are compatible

Features

  • Competition Series 22mm alloy steel bar delivers 310-410 lbs/inch rear roll stiffness - a dramatic increase over the OEM 13-14mm rear bar on all non-Type R trims
  • Three-hole adjustable end design allows precise rate tuning between soft, middle, and firm settings to match driving style, tire compound, and track requirements
  • Integrated heavy-gauge steel chassis brace eliminates subframe flex and prevents subframe tear-out under the high torsional loads generated during aggressive cornering
  • HD adjustable M10 ball-stud end links - a super-quiet, OEM-style ball-socket design in a fully threaded, adjustable-length configuration that eliminates pre-load and cross-weight
  • Lateral location rings integrated into the bar prevent side-to-side migration and deliver instant, consistent roll response from turn-in to exit
  • Low-deflection polyurethane bushings replace OEM rubber for crisper turn-in response and reduced compliance-induced suspension lag
  • Bar, brace, and brackets are powder-coated in metallic gray for corrosion resistance and a clean, professional appearance
  • CNC-bent bar with laser-cut and fixture-controlled MIG-welded ends ensures precise dimensional accuracy and exact fitment across all DC/DB chassis Integra variants
  • Complete, self-contained system - no additional hardware or supplemental parts required
  • Designed and manufactured in-house in the USA by Progress Technology

Product Description

The Progress Tech 62.1041 is a Competition Series 22mm three-position adjustable rear sway bar system engineered specifically for the 1994-2001 Acura Integra, covering all trims including the RS, LS, GS, Special Edition, GS-R, and Type R across both Coupe and Sedan body styles. Unlike standard sway bar upgrades, the 62.1041 is a fully integrated system - bar, brace, and end links are all included in a single kit, developed to work together as a cohesive rear suspension assembly. The 22mm solid alloy steel bar provides 310-410 lbs/inch of rear roll stiffness depending on hole position, delivering a dramatic reduction in body roll compared to the factory 13-14mm bar while keeping the chassis tunable for everything from daily commuting to autocross and track days.

The integrated heavy-gauge steel chassis brace is the defining feature that sets the 62.1041 apart from conventional sway bar kits. Mounted through the spare tire well and across both lower control arm attachment points, the brace eliminates subframe flex and prevents subframe tear-out - a real concern when sustained high lateral loads are applied to the rear suspension on DC/DB Integra chassis. The accompanying HD M10 ball-stud end links are Progress's latest-generation, super-quiet adjustable units that thread to any desired length for zero pre-load installation, and the three-point adjustment positions on the bar itself allow fine-tuning between soft, middle, and firm settings without any additional hardware. Lateral location rings on the bar prevent side-to-side migration for consistent, immediate roll response on every corner.

Installation requires M10 threaded bosses on the rear lower control arms as the end link attachment point - this is present on all factory 1994-2001 Integra LCAs, but should be verified if the LCAs have been replaced with aftermarket units. The chassis brace installation requires removal of the spare tire and trunk liner to access the spare tire well mounting points, and Progress provides all necessary hardware for a complete installation with no supplemental purchases needed. A front-end alignment is recommended after fitting. Every 62.1041 is designed and built in-house in the USA and is covered by Progress Technology's 1-year limited warranty.
