The PowerStop Z36-2174 Z36 Truck & Tow Rear Brake Pads are a direct-fit heavy-duty upgrade for a wide range of current-generation GM trucks and SUVs, including the 2019-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2019-2025 GMC Sierra 1500, 2021-2025 Cadillac Escalade, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL, and Chevrolet Colorado, as well as the Cadillac LYRIQ, GMC Hummer EV, Chevrolet Silverado EV, Rivian R1T, R1S, and 2024 Acura ZDX. Engineered for owners who regularly tow trailers, haul heavy payloads, or simply want stronger, more fade-resistant rear braking from these capable platforms, the Z36 compound delivers 17% higher friction coefficient than standard OE pads. The result is stronger rear-axle bite, better heat management on grades, and significantly reduced brake dust on alloy wheels.

Each pad is thermally scorched at the factory for fast break-in, with chamfered and slotted edges and stainless-steel high-temperature shims that keep noise virtually eliminated under all load conditions. A powder-coated backing plate provides long-term corrosion protection in year-round driving environments. This is a rear-axle-only pad set. Note that Silverado 1500 fitment begins with the 2019 new body style (T1 platform) - the 2019 Silverado 1500 LD (old body style) uses a different pad. No pad wear sensor is included and must be sourced separately if required for your application.
