  • Does not fit 2010 F-450 Super Duty produced before 2/22/2010 - those fall under a different caliper application (Z36-1069)
  • Does not fit Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty - those use separate front pad part numbers
  • Pad wear sensor is NOT included - sold separately if required

The PowerStop Z36-1066 Z36 Truck & Tow Front Brake Pads are a direct-fit heavy-duty upgrade for the 2005-2016 Ford F-450 Super Duty and 2008-2009 Ford F-53 Motorhome Chassis. Engineered specifically for drivers who depend on their truck or chassis to haul maximum payloads, tow heavy trailers, or manage the sustained braking demands of motorhome and commercial applications, these pads use PowerStop's Z36 Truck & Tow carbon-fiber ceramic compound, which delivers a coefficient of friction 17% higher than OE replacement pads. The result is noticeably stronger front-axle stopping power and dramatically improved fade resistance under the high thermal loads that heavy-duty applications generate daily.

Each pad is thermally scorched for fast break-in, with chamfered and slotted edges and stainless-steel high-temperature shims that keep noise virtually eliminated even under sustained heavy braking. The powder-coated backing plate provides long-term protection against corrosion in work-environment conditions. This is a front-axle-only pad set - note that F-53 Motorhome Chassis fitment applies to 2008-2009 only; 2011-2023 F-53 applications require Z36-1066B. The 2010 F-450 produced before 2/22/2010 uses a different caliper and requires Z36-1069. No pad wear sensor is included.
