Product Description

The PowerStop S4790 front caliper pair is a high-performance floating upgrade for Super Duty pickups and Ford Excursions from the late 1990s to mid-2000s. Built from cast iron with phenolic pistons (~54.1 mm), these calipers are remanufactured and pressure tested in PowerStop's Chicago facility to meet stringent OEM standards. The vivid red high-temp powder coating resists corrosion and adds standout visual appeal behind stock or aftermarket wheels.

Everything needed for installation comes in the box: new hardware including brackets, guide pins, seals, dust boots, bleeder screws, stainless pad clips, anti-rattle springs, and slides. With premium silicone lubricant and EPDM boots, these calipers deliver smooth, fade-resistant brake operation ideal for daily driving, towing, or hauling.

Fitment confirmed for 1999-2005 as listed; no coverage extends to 2025. This kit is intended for vehicles originally equipped with floating front calipers. Not compatible with vehicles that have integrated parking brake mechanisms or single-piston front brake setups.
