The PERRIN PSP-INT-431RD is a red silicone inlet hose engineered for the 2017-2021 Subaru BRZ, Toyota 86, and Scion FR-S with manual transmissions. The OEM inlet hose's pleated interior and sharp bend toward the throttle body create measurable airflow restriction - especially as power levels climb with bolt-on modifications. PERRIN's replacement features a 3.0" smooth-bore interior with a gradual bend, eliminating that restriction and allowing the engine to breathe more freely from idle through high-rpm operation.

A stainless steel support wire embedded within the silicone layers keeps the hose rigid under vacuum and prevents collapse with restrictive intake filters or in high-redline builds running aftermarket cams. The machined aluminum BOV insert provides a solid, leak-free connection for blow-off or bypass valves.
