The Pedders PED-7643 Heavy Duty Rear Coil Spring is engineered specifically for the 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO equipped with its original V8 engine. Built in Australia to ISO 9001 standards, this standard ride-height spring offers enhanced durability, consistent performance and ride-height accuracy under load thanks to a precise manufacturing tolerance of ±2 mm loaded height.

This heavy-duty spring features hot-forming, oil-quenching and shot-peening to improve structural integrity and fatigue resistance. It installs in the factory rear spring location without altering ride height, making it ideal for performance or street-driven GTOs that demand long-term reliability and handling consistency. Installation is straightforward; simply remove the old rear spring and replace with PED-7643, repeating for both sides to maintain balance.
