Product Description

The OMIX 17232.03 is a direct-replacement turn signal switch designed for a wide range of vintage Willys and Jeep CJ platforms spanning 1941 through 1971. Built with a black plastic housing and metal and rubber internals, this switch restores factory-style turn signal functionality to early CJ-2A, CJ-3A, CJ-3B, CJ-5, CJ-6, M-38, M-38A1, and Willys Truck and Station Wagon models. The detent mechanism holds the switch firmly in position, eliminating the need for the driver to hold it manually - a common frustration with worn original units.

The kit ships complete with a wiring harness and a built-in flasher unit, making it a straightforward installation for incandescent bulb setups. Owners upgrading to LED turn signal bulbs will need to add a separate LED-compatible relay to prevent hyper-flash. As with most vintage turn signal switches of this era, the switch does not self-cancel and must be returned to center manually after completing a turn.
