Product Description

The OMIX 17102.05 is a direct-fit OE-style replacement radiator fan shroud for 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and 2004-2006 Wrangler Unlimited LJ models equipped with the 4.0L inline-six engine. The fan shroud is a critical - and often overlooked - cooling system component. Without it, the engine-driven fan pulls air from around the radiator rather than directly through the core, significantly reducing cooling efficiency at low speeds, during trail crawling, and at idle. A cracked, broken, or missing shroud can lead to engine overheating under the exact conditions Wranglers frequently encounter.

This replacement shroud mounts to the factory radiator mounting points and surrounds the fan blade to direct airflow efficiently through the radiator core. Molded in durable black plastic, it is engineered to the original 4.0L TJ shroud specifications. Note that this part is specific to the 4.0L engine and will not fit the 2.4L or 2.5L four-cylinder variants. Mounting hardware is not included - reuse the original bolts from the factory shroud.
