The OMIX 18016.02 is a complete lower steering column shaft assembly for 1976-1983 Jeep CJ-5, 1976-1986 CJ-7, and 1981-1986 CJ-8 Scrambler models equipped with power steering. This direct-fit OE replacement includes the shaft assembly, coupler, boot, bearing, ring, and nut -- everything needed to replace a worn, rusted, or damaged factory lower steering shaft. Built to meet or exceed original factory specifications, this shaft restores proper steering feel and eliminates the play and slop common in aging CJ steering columns.
