Product Description

The Ohlins POZ MI00S1 is a Road & Track coilover suspension system for the 1999-2005 Porsche 911 Carrera (996) RWD. Built around Ohlins' patented Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology, the system delivers motorsport-level chassis control while maintaining refined daily-driving comfort. The DFV provides balanced compression and rebound damping characteristics through a consistent fluid flow path in both directions, allowing the wheel and tire to maintain contact with the road surface more effectively than conventional valve designs. The front utilizes inverted monotube McPherson struts for maximum rigidity and reduced unsprung weight, while the rear features aluminum-body conventional shocks for lightweight performance and improved heat dissipation. Ride height and spring preload are independently adjustable, and damping can be dialed from road comfort to full track mode with over 20 click positions per corner using a single adjuster knob. The system lowers the vehicle approximately 20mm below factory ride height at the recommended setup. Springs are included at 60 N/mm front and 120 N/mm rear. All dampers are fully rebuildable and corrosion tested to ISO 9227 standards. This kit is designed exclusively for rear-wheel drive 996 Carrera 2 models and reuses the factory top mounts. Vehicles equipped with the BOSE sound system may require the optional Ohlins adjuster extension package (G78055-01) for rear damper knob access. Backed by Ohlins' 2-year limited worldwide warranty.
