Product Description

The Ohlins 35020-14 is an EDC/DCC cancellation kit designed for Volkswagen Golf V GTI, Golf VI GTI, and Scirocco models equipped with the factory Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) or Electronic Damping Control (EDC) semi-active suspension system. When the factory electronically adjustable dampers are replaced with a passive aftermarket coilover system such as the Ohlins Road & Track VWS MI10, the vehicle's DCC control unit will detect the missing damper signals and trigger fault codes and dashboard warning lights. The 35020-14 resolves this by plugging directly into the original suspension wiring harness, simulating the expected damper signals and suppressing all associated fault codes without any ECU reprogramming or coding changes.

Installation is straightforward - the kit connects into the factory harness at each corner, requires no wiring modifications, and covers the full vehicle in one kit. Drive mode functionality is retained after installation. This kit is specific to MK5 and MK6 generation PQ35 platform vehicles with DCC; Golf VII (MK7) owners should refer to the Ohlins 35020-15 instead.
