The Ohlins VWS MT10S2 is a complete Road & Track coilover suspension system engineered for AWD variants of the Audi A3 (8P), TT/TTS/TTRS (8J), S3, RS3, Volkswagen Golf R (MK6), and Golf R32 (MK5). At the core of the system is Ohlins' patented Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology - exclusive to the R&T line - which provides matched damping characteristics on both compression and rebound strokes by maintaining a consistent fluid flow path through the piston in both directions. The result is a suspension system that returns the tire to the road surface faster after any input, delivering sharper traction, improved cornering balance, and a more planted feel than conventional coilover designs at equivalent spring rates.

The monotube damper architecture uses inverted front struts for increased lateral rigidity and aluminum-body rear shocks for reduced unsprung weight and improved heat dissipation during sustained track use. A single gold adjustment knob on each damper simultaneously sets high- and low-speed compression and high- and low-speed rebound across a 20+ click range, making corner-by-corner tuning fast and intuitive. Ride height is adjustable at both ends - spring preload at the front and a divorced spring collar at the rear - targeting approximately 20mm below OE ride height. Vehicles equipped with factory electronic adaptive suspension require an Ohlins EDC cancellation kit, sold separately; OE top mounts are required and must be reused from the vehicle.
