Product Description

The Moroso 26319 is a 3-way adjustable rear drag shock built specifically for 1979-up Fox-body Ford and Mercury vehicles - Mustang, Capri, Fairmont, and Granada. Shock valving plays a major role in how a car launches and carries down the track, and this shock is designed to control rear-tire loading so the chassis transfers weight effectively without unloading the rear tires, a common cause of wheel spin.

It's adjustable in three rear ratios (30/70, 40/60, and 50/50 compression/extension) so you can tune for slick or high-grip track conditions. Changing the setting is a simple "twist and click" - fully compress the shock and rotate the shaft to the desired indexed position. For best results it works in conjunction with a matching front drag shock to smooth the transition from launch to top-end. Lower mounting hardware is available separately as Moroso 26329.
