The Mishimoto MMLG-M14-20LSL is a 20-piece steel locking lug nut kit designed for vehicles equipped with M14 x 1.5 wheel studs. The most commonly overlooked failure point in a wheel fastener setup is the two-piece OEM lug nut - the outer cap is crimped onto the inner threaded body rather than machined from a single piece, and over time this crimp joint corrodes, loosens, or swells. A swollen two-piece lug nut can seize in the wheel bore, turning what should be a straightforward tire change into a damaged wheel situation. The MMLG-M14-20LSL addresses this entirely with a single-piece forged steel construction - no crimp joint, no cap, no corrosion interface - machined from high-strength steel to resist the tensile loads and impact stresses of track use, towing, and off-road operation.

Each 20-piece kit includes 16 standard lug nuts and 4 locking lug nuts, providing one locking nut per wheel on a 4-lug vehicle. The locking nuts use a discreet 7-point proprietary pattern that requires the included tool for installation and removal - a significantly more theft-resistant design than standard hex lug nuts while remaining unobtrusive on the wheel face.
