The Mishimoto MMDCC-40SBK is a 4.0-inch straight DuraCore™ silicone intercooler boot built for custom charge pipe and intercooler builds that require a direct, in-line 4.0" silicone connection with no change in direction or diameter. At 4.0 inches, this is the largest straight boot in the DuraCore™ lineup - suited for large-displacement diesel trucks and high-output performance builds running wide-bore intercooler piping where a straight pipe joint needs a flexible, boost-proof seal.

DuraCore™ technology lines the innermost layer with a synthetic material that resists heat, pressure, fuel, and oil far beyond what standard silicone can handle under sustained high-boost conditions. Five silicone layers reinforced with heat-resistant embedded fibers and reinforcing rings at each clamping zone provide the structural rigidity to hold under boost without ballooning or blowing out.
