The Mishimoto MMDCC-40A9BK is a 4.0-inch 90-degree DuraCore™ silicone intercooler boot built for custom charge pipe and intercooler builds that require a full right-angle turn at the largest common charge pipe diameter. At 4.0 inches, this is the biggest boot in the DuraCore™ angle configuration lineup - suited for large-displacement diesel trucks, high-output performance builds, and custom fabrication projects using wide-bore intercooler piping where routing around the radiator, engine block, or chassis structure demands a clean 90-degree transition.

DuraCore™ technology lines the innermost layer with a synthetic material engineered to resist heat, pressure, fuel, and oil far beyond what standard silicone can handle in sustained high-boost conditions. Five silicone layers reinforced with heat-resistant embedded fibers and reinforcing rings at each clamping zone provide the structural rigidity needed to prevent ballooning and blowouts under continuous boost load.
