The Mishimoto MMDCC-40A4BK is a 4.0-inch 45-degree DuraCore™ silicone intercooler boot built for custom charge pipe and intercooler piping layouts that require a 45-degree directional change at the largest common charge pipe diameter. At 4.0 inches, this boot suits large-displacement diesel and high-output gas engines running intercooler systems with wide-bore charge piping - where routing flexibility is limited and a partial-angle boot is needed to clear components without forcing a full 90-degree turn.

DuraCore™ technology lines the innermost layer with a synthetic material engineered to resist heat, pressure, fuel, and oil - the conditions that degrade standard silicone in sustained high-boost environments. Five silicone layers reinforced with heat-resistant embedded fibers and reinforcing rings at each clamping zone provide the structural rigidity to hold under boost without ballooning or blowing out.
