The Mishimoto MMLP-CTR-23 is a direct-fit front license plate relocation kit engineered specifically for the 2023-2026 Honda Civic Type R (FL5). On the FL5 CTR, the factory front license plate sits in a position that partially obstructs airflow reaching the intercooler and radiator - a meaningful concern on a turbocharged performance car where consistent cooling is critical to sustained power delivery through back-to-back corners, extended track sessions, or spirited street driving in warm conditions.
