Product Description

Mishimoto MMINT-CIV-22KSLWRD is a performance intercooler kit designed for 1.5L turbocharged Honda Civic, Acura Integra, and Honda CR-V applications. The system combines a robust bar-and-plate aluminum intercooler with cast aluminum end tanks and high-flow red aluminum charge piping to improve charge-air cooling and airflow compared with the factory system.

The intercooler provides a 146% increase in core volume and achieved an average outlet temperature reduction of 18.1°F in Mishimoto testing. The supplied piping increases hot-side flow area by 103% and cold-side flow area by 75%, while the complete system is rated to support builds producing up to 572 horsepower. Mishimoto testing also recorded gains of up to 8.1 horsepower and 8.1 lb-ft of torque over stock.

The kit is engineered for direct-fit installation without cutting the front bumper or removing the crash bar. It includes the intercooler, aluminum piping, adapters, mounting brackets, silicone couplers, hardware, and trim-removal tool required for installation. The supplied cold-side pipe also features a 1/8-inch NPT sensor port for compatible auxiliary sensors or gauges.
