The Mishimoto MMTS-MOP-18L Low-Temperature Thermostat with Housing is engineered for 3.6L Pentastar V6 applications including the 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL, 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator JT, 2016-2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2, 2016-2026 Dodge Durango WD, and 2019-2026 Ram 1500. The assembly replaces the factory plastic thermostat housing with a durable aluminum housing and uses a 180°F thermostat designed for earlier coolant circulation.

The Mishimoto thermostat activates at 180°F, approximately 15°F lower than the factory 195°F thermostat. Earlier activation allows coolant to circulate through the cooling system sooner, helping manage engine temperatures during towing, off-road driving, hot-weather operation, and other demanding conditions. The high-quality wax thermostat element is designed for consistent and dependable operation with the factory cooling system.

The assembly is supplied with the thermostat housing, low-temperature thermostat, gasket, temperature sensor, and O-ring for a complete replacement installation. It is designed as a direct-fit component without vehicle modifications. This part is not compatible with Ram 1500 Classic trucks and should only be installed on the listed 3.6L Pentastar V6 applications.
