This kit includes two thermostats that open at approximately 174 °F and 180 °F - lower than the typical OEM thermostat - allowing coolant to begin circulating through the system sooner. This earlier flow helps maintain cooler engine temperatures during heavy towing, hauling, or operation in hot climates by improving overall coolant management and heat rejection efficiency.
