The Mishimoto MMTS-WRX-01 Low Temperature Racing Thermostat is engineered to replace the factory thermostat in Subaru WRX and WRX STI models, providing earlier coolant circulation by opening at a lower activation temperature (~154.4 °F) compared to the stock thermostat (~172.4 °F). This allows the coolant to flow through the engine sooner, helping reduce and maintain lower operating temperatures during spirited driving, turbocharged usage, or heavy load conditions.
