Fitment Notes

• Compatible with both the OEM stock radiator and the Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Radiator for the Evo 7/8/9 (MMRAD-EVO-01).
• Vehicles equipped with the factory fan control module (OEM PN: 1355A408) will require custom relocation or mounting of that module for proper fan operation after installation.
• Fans may require additional wiring depending on the vehicle's existing fan wiring harness configuration. A fan controller (such as the Mishimoto MMFAN-CNTL-UPROBE) is available separately for thermostatically controlled operation.
• This is a redesigned single-fan setup. Earlier versions of this shroud used a dual-fan configuration; the current MMFS-EVO-01 uses a single 14-inch fan for improved fitment and cooling efficiency.

The Mishimoto MMFS-EVO-01 is a direct-fit performance aluminum fan shroud kit engineered for the 2001-2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7, 8, and 9 sharing the CT9A chassis. It replaces the factory plastic fan shroud with a polished aluminum housing containing a single 14-inch slim electric fan, delivering 1,300 CFM of consistent radiator airflow at idle, low speeds, and under full load. The redesigned single-fan configuration - an update from earlier dual-fan versions - improves fitment across the full range of CT9A Evo variants and provides focused, high-volume airflow through the radiator core. The polished aluminum shroud is substantially lighter than the OEM assembly, reducing front-end weight and providing a cleaner engine bay appearance without sacrificing strength or durability.

Like all Mishimoto aluminum fan shrouds, the MMFS-EVO-01 includes an adhesive-backed foam sealing strip that fills any remaining perimeter gap between the shroud and the radiator face. This seal is a critical detail: a fan without a proper shroud seal draws a mix of fresh air and recirculated hot engine bay air, significantly reducing cooling efficiency.
